Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Paints on Tile Coasters with Michelle

This is my first play with the Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Glossy Brilliant Paints set, OMG So much fun, and can I say Yumm!!!
This is a great personalized Gift Idea that even the kids could take part with! :)
All you need is some Pebeo Porcelaine paints, a paint brush, a sponge and an oven. I have used white square 10x10 tiles for these.  To turn them into a drink coaster you can add some sticky backed felt to the back of them or glue some cork mat on the back.

To stamp a background on your tiles I have used a piece of foam from packaging and added a little porcelaine paint to it to create a stamp pad. I pressed the stamp onto the foam pad then onto the tile to get the stamped oriental writing on it.

I started by drawing up a quick template on what I wanted to add.

Once you work out your design you can start painting them onto the tiles.
I have used a brush to paint the design on and have mixed primary colours to create the brown and the orange. I have also use the Pebeo Porcelaine Thinner Diluant on the pink berries and green leaves to make them softer.

You can see the process of these being created in this video:

To cook the tiles in the oven place the tiles in a cold oven at 150°C/ 300°F once the oven reaches 150° set the timer for 35 min then turn off the oven and leave the tiles to cool in the oven.

I am still learning to draw birds and they are not perfect but they still look great and you get the idea!

Thanks for Dropping By
Cheers
